Gregory Steencken, MD
Gregory Steencken is a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician. He grew up locally, graduating from West Genesee High School in 1995. He received his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY. After completing an Emergency Medicine Residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA, he and his wife ventured out to California where he completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at O’Connor Hospital in San Jose. There he took care of athletes at all levels, from youth soccer to professional hockey, including the San Jose Sharks. After completing his fellowship Dr. Steencken and his wife returned to CNY to raise a family and enjoy the four seasons of the Finger Lakes region and regular trips to the Adirondacks. Dr. Steencken currently works with Song Mountain Ski Patrol and the Syracuse Crunch. He is happy to take care of you and your family for all your urgent care needs, and especially enjoys helping people heal and get back to the activities they love.
